A Malone Stage 2 tune produces 30hp and 50-70lb-ft of torque over stock. The straight pipe from the turbo back just sounds so mean. I don't have an EGT gauge and was also told the ECU self monitors that and would adjust accordingly. For anyone considering a tune, I just did one.. was first going for Stage 1 until I learned you can keep the Stock exhaust intact with Stage 2. I checked and fuel does get cut off when brake is applied on my 2012 MKVI with Malone tune. VW MKVI-A6 Golf family including Jetta SportWagen. Yeah Its sex, but with a condom. Seems to me it's just a higher tweaked Stage I tune... As long as the boss approves, I'll be doing DPF delete with Rawtek hard parts and Malone soft parts next spring.

I have malone stage 2 tune and DSG tune, it woke up the beast! I'm curious if others are flattening out at 3500 on a ALH. Been tuned and deleted for 60K miles and the car is amazing. id love to go for a ride in a stage 2 though, Wish my 2011 TDi performed as well as yours. I run .216's on my Stage 4 tune and have plenty of fuel left if I want more.
I have the Stage II, but with the delete. Interesting that you guys have gone Stage 2 Malone with the DPF still. Ditto, my dmf didnt like a full stage 2 with exhaust, so its trimmed a bit. Love my stage 2. I went 1.5 because I was under the impression Stage 2 with a DPF still was a no no. These stage 2 mods offer larger power gains than stage one but will usually require additional work or other parts if you want them to work reliably.

Malone stage 2 with DPF is like having sex with a condom. He even gave me his personal vehicle to tool around in while he was working on my car. Probably 50/50 hwy/city... With a DSG tune, launch control is added but no power available with brake applied while in motion. However, my tune was done by "Speedtuningusa" bad experience.
was thinking about going with those guys to get a malone st 1 tune done on my 2012 dsg. Some of the examples listed in stage 1 can also be regarded as stage 2 mods if they are extreme in their ambition. This is all according to the MFI - I haven't done a tank fill/mileage check yet.

The "general rule" is .205 is enough for a 18 PSI Stage 3 tune. I'm also contemplating jumping right up to a Stage 3 with another turbo, but still not yet sure. With a Stage 1 or Stage 2 tune, the .205's you have will flow plenty of fuel.
